COSTUME INFO!!!

We are going to start costume checking tomorrow!  That means that your child may bring requested items to be checked for style, continuity and fit starting at the beginning of practice.  I have a spreadsheet to keep track of who has what, so we're going to start covering the basics nice and early.  ORPHANS, Bring in your items as SOON as you can so we can check them off and so you will have them ready when you need them for choreography on THURSDAY!

The Basics:  (PLEASE don't fret if you don't see your character here.  I will do specific emails or talk to you at rehearsals if you are not listed here.)


ALL Orphans:
you bring: A long-sleeve, collarless shirt in grey, black, brown or off-white.
Knee hi socks in grey, black, brown or off-white.
Black boots- no laces, buckles or sparkle.  Old leather look is best. Try and get as close as possible to this look:
We'll issue: Apron dress
Bloomers

Girl Servants:
You Bring: Black dress (see sample picture-short sleeves preferred, and dress length is important!)

tan pantyhose
Black shoes, buckles ok, but no sparkles.  Mary Janes are good!
We'll issue: Apron, collar, cuffs and hat

Boy Servants: Black pants
Black socks
Black shoes
white gloves
White dress shirt
Black bow tie
We'll issue Jacket

NYC'ers: you choose!!  Poorer NYers: Drab colors.  Wealthier NYers: Muted Fall colors.  
You bring: wintery clothes c. 1930 (See sample pics)  PLEASE STICK TO SOLID COLORS- NO PATTERNS!!!

You Bring: Red dress shirt, brown tie
Red socks
Black dress shoes
We'll issue Suit, hat

Lily
You Bring: Pantyhose, cami and shorts for under costumes
Shoes (like we discussed)
We'll issue: Dress Suit, hat, fur

All others: See me! I have specific things for you.
